Walking from Etwall
By the Spread Eagle bus stop near the village church there’s a large map with Ashe Hall marked on it. Here is our hand-drawn version, showing the route from Etwall to Tara KMC. Click the map to view full size.

Walk from the centre of Etwall down Sutton Lane until you come to the bridge over the old railway, with some wooden steps going down on your right. Walk down the steps, turn right and continue on until you pass under the road, through the underpass. Then turn immediately left and follow the path up onto Ash Lane, just off the main road.
Don’t take the first gate on the right signposted "Tara Centre", which you'll reach before the driveway to the Equestrian Centre, or you’ll end up on the woodland walk. Keep walking past the Equestrian Centre on your right - turn right up Ash Lane and after 20 metres you'll see a second gate signposted "Tara Centre" on your right. Go through this gate into the field and head for the big house through the trees.
The whole walk takes about 15 minutes from the bus stop.
