meaningful work

Have you ever wanted to do something meaningful with your time? Tara Centre is a UK registered charity that is run entirely by volunteers. The Centre exists to help others - providing Buddha's liberating teachings, and a place of peace and refuge in which to discover them, for all the people of the Midlands, the UK, and the whole world.
Everybody at Tara Centre can contribute to the Centre's work. Resident students and working visitors alike have the opportunity to make their lives truly meaningful, working to maintain the buildings and grounds, to cherish and care for visitors to our courses, World Peace Café and Barn B&B, to organise, publicise and teach our meditation classes, and so much more - all for the benefit of others.
Whatever time, skills or experience you can offer, your help and enthusiasm will make a beneficial contribution to Tara Centre's work, and so to the welfare of all living beings.
Let us know if you'd like to help out in any way. For example, you could come for a week or two on a working visit, or if you really want to make your whole life meaningful, apply to move in!
