Summer Fayre

A clown amuses the crowd at the Summer fayreOne day in June every year, Ashe Hall transforms from its usual peaceful oasis into a full-on, fun-packed midsummer fayre! With lots and lots of different stalls selling everything from jam to jewellery, local produce to face-painting; bouncy castles, clowns, puppet shows, Morris dancers and more to entertain the crowds; vegeburgers, ice-cream and Vietnamese Spring Rolls to keep you going - there's so much to see and do, the Ashe Hall Summer Fayre has become a very popular event on the local calendar, attracting thousands of people from all around.

2008's Summer Fayre will take place on Sunday 22nd June. If you'd like to bring along a stall, please contact us to apply at meditate@taracentre.org.uk.

Stop the week!

Stop the Week! is a relaxing and enjoyable alternative to your usual Friday night. We start with a short, guided meditation to relax and unwind from the stress of the week, and then go through to the World Peace Café for a good meal in the company of friends. These evenings are suitable for complete beginners to meditation - many people bring the whole family, and the meal is always great fun - a chance to meet old friends and make new ones.
