school visits
Tara KMC regularly hosts school visits for children and students of all ages. School visits are lead by experienced teachers, giving students invaluable practical experience to enrich their classroom studies. The students will find out about Buddha’s teachings, discover what it means to be a modern day Buddhist and live in a Buddhist community, explore the symbolic meaning of a Buddhist shrine, and get to try a simple meditation. Of course, they also get to ask lots of questions!
School visits last for two hours, after which time you are welcome to stay & enjoy the grounds. To arrange a visit for your school, please email School Visit Coordinator at meditate@taracentre.org.uk.
